Liliana Basmadjian was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. She was admitted to practice law, graduating from the University of the Republic with her Doctorate in Law and Social Sciences Degree. She worked with private practitioners in Uruguay until she emigrated to the United States in 1998. Mrs. Basmadjian was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2001, after completing a Master of Laws in Comparative Legal Studies (LL.M.) at Pace University School of Law. She joined Moreira & Associates PLLC, a firm that acts as a liaison between Uruguayan governmental institutions and the United States. Mrs. Basmadjian was then employed by Deloitte, as a Document Review Quality Controller. It was in February 2011 when Mrs. Basmadjian joined Parsekian and Solomon P.C., handling Family based Immigration Petitions, Citizenships, Visa Extensions, and Renewals of Employment Authorization among other things. She is an Armenian descendent and serves as a member of the Armenian General Benevolent Union. Mrs. Basmadjian speaks English, Spanish and Armenian.
